That’s why we're asking voters in the United States to pledge to vote for libraries and to elect leaders who support libraries. Without these voters, we will lose these incredible institutions that help millions of Americans get ahead every single day.

Without libraries, many communities have little to no public academic infrastructure where anyone can access deep amounts of information on a large scale of topics and must rely on increasingly shaky online sources of information. Libraries additionally act as centers for community identity and culture that are tragically rare nowadays.
